The heating fluid contains an antifreeze that also protects against corrosion and bacterial growth, but these qualities deplete over time.
Alde Premium G13 Antifreeze is magenta in colour and should be replaced every 5 years.
If your fluid is a different colour, change it after 2 years.
By maintaining your heating fluid, you know that your system contains the right mix of antifreeze and water.
