Genuine Alko Caravan Breakaway Cable
The Alko Caravan Breakaway Cable is a fast-connect cable designed to fit AL-KO braked couplings. The cable is specifically designed to act in an emergency to engage the brakes of a caravan should it become detached from the vehicle that’s towing it. The Alko breakaway cable works by actually breaking itself - hence once operated, it should be replaced immediately. The breakaway cable measures 1 metre and is made from 3mm multi-strand galvanised wire with protective, high-visibility red-coloured PVC sheathing. The cable has a standard push-down metal clip for looped attachments and ease of installation, with a heavy-duty metal hook end connector, designed for use on caravans. An ideal safety accessory for your caravan, horsebox or trailer.
